TIKI TIME

A feature-length documentary that follows one man on a quest to explore the culture of Tiki through a modern, culturally sensitive lens, in an attempt to learn how to enjoy it responsibly. The film will dive into the music, decor, and drinks of Tiki as our guide “Tony Waponi” grapples with Tiki’s long history of cultural appropriation. Tiki Time explores ways in which modern “Tiki-philes” are enjoying this fun, uniquely American pastime and in a culturally sensitive way.
